It’s a choice between four beautiful, fabulously original rooms, each individually styled to embody something special about Córdoba. All have king-size beds and pillow menus, and are discreetly tucked into the patio’s corners. Rooms might feel a bit dark to some tastes, but they’re designed to keep cool during Córdoba’s sweltering summers. There are also two new suites on the way. Olive-oil-toned Spartum is modelled on countryside Córdoba, while Petra flaunts a 15th-century open-stone wall. The favourites are flamenco-themed Quelo, done up in deep reds, and aqua-walled Laçur, inspired by the splendour of Moorish Al-Andalus. The dazzling design continues in the striking Moroccan-style tadelakt bathrooms, which feature fluffy robes and slippers, professional hair dryers, Anne Semonin toiletries, wonderful rain showers and plenty of mirrors.
